Golf Cottage in Dornoch, is situated just off the main square in the centre of the town. Dornoch dates back a thousand years, and it became a Royal Burgh in 1628. The town boasts the thirteenth-century Dornoch Cathedral, the Old Town Jail, the Bishop's Palace and Royal Dornoch Golf Course.

The cottage was refurbished to a high specification during the Autumn of 2009 and lies a very short walk from local shops and restaurants. Also within easy walking distance are the Cathedral, golf course and the spectacular sandy beaches of the Dornoch Firth.
